Do I need an appointment for my little’s piercing, or can we just walk in?

Our piercing studio is by appointment only so we can give your little our full attention and keep everything calm and seamless. Last-minute spots are rare, so it’s best to call, join our waitlist, or check our socials for updates.

How do I book? Can I book both lobes at the same time for my little one?

Head to our website and choose the right age category for your appointment. Please book the appointment under the name of the legal guardian who will be present during the appointment. If you have questions before booking or can’t find a date that works for you, you can call, text, email, or send us a DM on Instagram (@saltpiercingstudio). We’re always happy to help!

If you're hoping to have both of your little’s lobes pierced at the same time, keep an eye out for our designated Littles Days. These are special dates when both Victoria and Amie are available to work together, making the experience seamless and quicker. 

Can I book appointments for multiple littles, family members, or myself on the same day?

Absolutely! We love when families and friends come in together. Just be sure to book a separate appointment for each person getting pierced. This way, everyone gets their own special moment and the right intake form lands in the right inbox. (For example: If it’s your little and their friend, each legal guardian should make their own booking so forms don’t get mixed up.) The appropriate legal guardians must be present for all littles. There will be no exceptions.

What happens after I book my appointment?

After booking, you’ll get an intake form sent to your email, which we ask you to fill out before you arrive. It helps us get everything ready for your visit and makes the whole process seamless. If you haven’t received your form or need help, just let us know. We’re here to help every step of the way!

What kind of ID do I need to bring for my little’s appointment?

For all littles piercings, we require a legal guardian to be present. You’ll need to bring a government-issued photo ID for yourself (like a driver’s license or passport) and an ID that shows proof of guardianship (such as a birth certificate or health card). Both are required before any piercing can take place, so please double-check you have them ready before your appointment!

How do I prepare my little for their piercing appointment?

Please ensure your little has had a substantial meal within 2 hours beforehand and plenty of rest. If they have a favourite toy, book, or comfort item, bring it along to help keep them cozy throughout the appointment.

What if my little is nervous or changes their mind?

That’s okay! We never pressure anyone, and our focus is always on making the experience positive. If your little wants to wait or try again another day, no problem! If we are only able to pierce one lobe, we will only charge for one lobe piercing. 

We will try our best to be flexible, but please give us as much notice as possible if you will not be able to attend your littles appointment due to their nerves. Failure to notify us will result in a no show charge.

Are there situations where Salt Piercing Studio won’t pierce my little?

Salt Piercing Studio puts your little’s comfort and safety first. We will not proceed with a piercing if:

• Your little has not eaten a substantial meal within two hours before the appointment.

• You do not have the required documentation (government-issued photo ID for yourself and a document proving guardianship, such as a birth certificate or health card).

• Your little is visibly upset, anxious, or expresses that they do not want to continue. If this happens, our piercers will immediately stop the service. This decision is final and always made with your little’s well-being in mind.

• Anyone in your group is behaving disrespectfully toward our staff.

We kindly ask legal guardians to respect our professional judgment, support our team, and prioritize your little’s comfort above all. Thank you for working with us to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for everyone!

Can I stay with my little during their piercing? Can family or friends come along, too?

Absolutely! A legal guardian must be present for all littles’ piercings, and we love having you by their side for hugs and courage. We totally understand that a support system can make a big difference, so you’re welcome to bring a trusted friend or family member.

Our piercing room is cozy, so for everyone’s comfort, we ask that groups stay small. Too many people can be overwhelming for the little, and we want to maintain our calm environment. 

What piercing method do you use?

We pierce exclusively with single-use, sterile needles. We never pierce with piercing guns. Why? Needles are much safer and far gentler on your tissue, allowing for a more precise piercing, better healing, and way less discomfort. Piercing guns can cause unnecessary trauma to the skin and aren’t as hygienic, so we keep things safe, calm, and professional for everyone. 

What jewellery do you use? Can I upgrade?

We only use high-quality implant-grade titanium for every fresh piercing. Let your piercer know if you want to upgrade to 14K gold plated jewellery!

What if I have more questions or concerns after the appointment?

We’re always here for you! Email, call, text, or book a Wellness Check with us for added peace of mind. No question is too small. Your little’s safety and comfort is our top priority.

How do I look after my little’s new piercing?

Please review our aftercare instructions, which our piercers will go over and send you home with at the end of your appointment. Have a question? Just ask!
